Dog behaviourists who champion ethical partnership and communication
Our Ethos
A lifetime of working with dogs went by until it was finally time to bring Conker home through a blizzard in January 2022. The cheeky, loving and incredibly silly Boxer/English Bulldog puppy has grown into one of the most incredible dogs we could have possibly dreamed of.
Through the many trials that we have faced as a family, including the discovery of his idiopathic canine epilepsy, Conker has been the bright shining light of love that constantly reminds us why we are here and the responsibility we have to share our knowledge and passion for dog partnership.
We want to live in a world full of people who can communicate with their dogs and each other effectively, so that we can all be safe and happy members of society. Our solid foundation of trust and communication allowed us to stay together as a family even when a curveball like a family member having to learn how to walk again became part of the 6 month puppy training plan!
Our family has now grown to include Cherry the Frenchie who we were able to adopt and help to breathe with BOAS surgery. She has grown in confidence and is helping so many other dogs do the same.
There are many more adventures to come and we hope you come along for the ride. We are aiming to remove, as many barriers to entry to, accessing dog training as possible.
No ego zone
It's vital that we leave our egos out of the relationship with our dog and training. No part of the guide is meant to make you feel you've done something wrong but just to show where we can improve. Part of our commitment to you is that we will leave our egos at the door, and we ask you to do the same. The end goal for us will always be in the best interest of the dog and we make no apologies for that or have any plans to change in that regard.
If your dog is misbehaving unless it is a newly rescued dog it means its a problem you have created. Standing around scratching your head doesnt solve the problem but looking at the root cause and how WE can change to help them does.
LGBTQ+ friendly business
At Conker's Club we believe that pride is more than just a month and more than just a flag. You will see the flag proudly on the footer of our website all year, and we feel our actions overall show more about who we are as a community.

No generative A.I, ever
Every word you read and image you see has been created by a human. If a service we use has an option to use AI, we choose not to use it as an ethical stance. Conker's Club pays artists, if you like any of the art there will be a credit below go check them out.
